The resin we use in our jewelry is produced by conifer trees and it protects them from mechanical or insect damage: it flows, and then hardens to seal the wound site of the tree.

Humans have used resins for thousands of years.

The British Empire used resin for its navy. It was used to waterproof rope and tarps, and to seal the seams of wooden ships. Resin is also used for skateboards to prevent cracking, chipping, and breakage. Resin had medical and cosmetic applications too: Pine resin has been traditionally used in medicine and cosmetics for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.

Unlike the epoxy resin which is a synthetic resin artificially created through chemical processes, our resin is hypoallergenic and 100% natural.
